Role Description This is a full-time hybrid role (Monday-Wednesday office based). The Trainee Associate Planner will be a development role that can progress into an Associate Planner, which will progress to a Chartered Fianncial Planner position, this is a perfect role for a paraplanner wanting to move into giving advice and needing a route to do this. The Trainee Associate will assist with developing financial plans, conducting research, and preparing reports for clients. Daily tasks include supporting senior planners, managing client communications, and ensuring all regulatory compliance. Responsibilities also encompass data analysis, preparing meeting materials, and providing administrative support to ensure smooth operations. Qualifications Strong analytical and research skills, with the ability to interpret financial data Excellent written and verbal communication skills Proficiency in using financial planning software and Microsoft Office Suite Detail-oriented and highly organised, with the ability to manage multiple tasks Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a team environment Interest in financial planning and wealth management, with a commitment to professional development Relevant educational background in finance, economics, or related field, with progress towards financial planning qualifications being an advantage
