Your tasks will include: Planning diverse menus that cater to the nutritional needs of young children. Preparing and cooking meals for up to 50 children daily, ensuring meals are wholesome and appetizing. Maintaining high standards of cleanliness and hygiene in the kitchen in compliance with food safety regulations. Collaborating with nursery staff to accommodate dietary requirements and allergies. Engaging children in cooking activities to enhance their understanding and enjoyment of food. Managing kitchen supplies, including food ordering and inventory control. We are seeking someone with: At least 2 years of experience in a cooking role, preferably in a nursery or care setting. Strong knowledge of food hygiene and safety practices. Creativity and passion for preparing nourishing meals for children. Excellent organizational skills to effectively manage kitchen operations. A valid Food Hygiene certificate and the ability to pass an enhanced DBS check.
