We are currently forward planning for future roles that may become available as a Ticket Office Supervisor. If you are successful in your application, you will be placed in our Talent Bank for up to six months. If a suitable opportunity becomes available during that time, you may be offered a role. This role is available as either Static or Relief positions:
Static
* Static roles offer a consistent shift pattern, giving you visibility of your shifts for the full year.
* Shift times: ranging between 04:30 – 22:20
* Static starting salary £34,255, after 12 months £35,544 per annum
Relief
* Relief roles provide flexibility, with weekly rosters issued one week before the shift.
* Shift times: 04:30 – 22:20
* Relief salary: £39,107 per annum
Please note that we are unable to accept your application if you do not meet the following criteria.
* Shift times will vary depending on location.
* You will be working an average of 35 hours per week. This will include weekend working & Bank Holidays.
* You must be able to arrange your own transport to ensure timely arrival for early and late shifts.
* Please note that applicants must be 18 years of age or older.
* Candidates will be subject to successfully passing a medical, a Right to Work & DBS check for this position.

Key Responsibilities
This role will involve you supporting our customers by assisting them with using our ticket machines based around the station, as well as guiding our customers on new ticketing technology such as smart cards, and use of our mobile phone app etc. Full training and a uniform are provided upon joining.
* Greeting customers, selling tickets, and addressing customer inquiries, emphasising a customer service-oriented approach with a friendly demeanour.
* Support customers in using ticket machines located throughout the station and provide guidance on new ticketing technologies, including smart cards and mobile apps.
* Ensure adherence to safety, security, and cash regulations while maintaining ticket machines.
* Utilise company systems such as Fujitsu Star (ticket office sales machine) and Ticket Vending Machines (TVMs).
* Conduct security checks as part of the station security plan (SSP), with varying frequencies depending on the station, including monitoring for left items, securing waste bins, and checking that doors are locked or secured.

With a team of around 3,000 colleagues, we operate 134 stations throughout Cambridgeshire, Essex, Hertfordshire, Norfolk, and Suffolk.
