The Opportunity
We’re looking for an Account Manager who’s equally comfortable looking after clients and closing business.
You’ll be focused entirely on the media portfolio of a flagship global professional body in the finance/education space – managing their media, sponsorship and campaign activity from start to finish.
You’ll be the day-to-day face of the account for a number of clients, keeping delivery tight and relationships strong, while growing revenue through renewals, upsells and new opportunities.
It’s a great role for someone who enjoys a mix of client service, commercial thinking and hands-on delivery.
Key Responsibilities
Account Management & Delivery
* Act as main day-to-day contact for key stakeholders across marketing, events and partnerships.
* Manage end-to-end delivery of media and sponsorship campaigns (from brief and planning through to trafficking, reporting and optimisation).
* Coordinate with internal teams (ad ops, design, content, finance) and overseas partners (including APAC) to ensure campaigns run smoothly and on time.
* Work with ad ops to produce clear campaign reports, performance summaries and recommendations.
Sales & Revenue Growth
* Own a revenue target across your portfolio (renewals, upsell and new business within the client ecosystem).
* Identify opportunities to grow spend from existing advertisers and partners.
* Research and approach new prospects that would benefit from the media channels and events you manage.
* Build and maintain a healthy sales pipeline; prepare proposals and pitch decks; negotiate and close deals in a consultative way.
Commercial & Operational Support
* Maintain accurate records in the CRM (HubSpot) including activity, pipeline and forecast.
* Support budgeting and forecasting for your accounts.
* Feed client and market insight back into product development and campaign planning.
Must-Haves
* 3–5 years’ experience in account management, client services or media/partnerships with a clear commercial element.
* Proven experience selling or upselling B2B media, sponsorship, recruitment marketing or similar services.
* Comfortable researching and contacting prospects (email, phone, LinkedIn) and tailoring outreach to different stakeholders.
* Strong relationship-building skills and the ability to manage multiple stakeholders and complex projects.
* Excellent attention to detail – confident overseeing campaign set-up, delivery, reporting and timelines.
* A solid understanding of media planning and campaign lifecycles (ideally across digital, email and events).
* Confident communicator with strong writing and presentation skills.
Nice-to-Haves
* Familiarity with professional bodies or membership organisations (e.g. in finance, accountancy, CPD or similar).
* Experience working with CRM/sales tools (HubSpot/Apollo etc) and campaign reporting dashboards.
* Exposure to SaaS, fintech, education, lifestyle or other B2B sectors.
* Comfortable working to quarterly sales targets and managing a pipeline.
What's on Offer
* Base salary: £37,000–£40,000 (dependent on experience)
* OTE: £50,000–£55,000
