What you’ll be doing
as an Operations Integration Specialist
1. Working on behalf of Operations and managing expectations to solution delivery (ensuring maintenance requirements are considered as part of the core design – feedback & challenge).
2. Be engaged at a local level and understand site performance and restrictions, flagging risk to delivery.
3. Manage and facilitate meetings, workshops, and progress reviews. Manage site access requests.
4. Support decisions around temporary arrangements, and understand critical information around temporary solutions.
5. Monitor project from an operational perspective, liaise with all relevant parties, internal & external.
6. Working with system planning, identifying gaps between investment plans and operational requirements.
7. Working closely with Operational site teams to encourage synergies to deliver project success. The role holder is expected to be present on site as required to ensure ownership of related activity and reduce the impact on front-line teams.
What should you bring to the role?
8. Ability to demonstrate delivery of projects to meet commercial/technical and Operational objectives, as well as system optimisation.
9. Excellent communication and strong interpersonal skills are essential alongside the ability to manage and influence multiple high-level and external stakeholders whilst delivering to tight deadlines.
10. Knowledge & understanding of catchment and area implications to site performance to feed decision making on solution implementation.
11. Awareness of legislative frameworks relating to future requirements that may impact delivery.
12. Previous experience of working in an Engineering solutions environment is desirable.
13. Self-starting, resilient and tenacious whilst managing multiple priorities under pressure.
14. Good knowledge of H&S systems, processes, and procedures.
15. A degree in a relevant field or equivalent is desirable, and/or experience within the water or a similar utilities industry.

17. Annual Leave: 26 days holiday per yea,r increasing to 30 with the length of service. (plus bank holidays)

20. Performance Related Pay Plan (PRPP): Max (of salary) = 10%. On Target (of salary) = 5%.
