Are you an experienced Warehouse Operator looking to step into a fast‑paced, highly regulated environment where quality and precision matter? We’re urgently hiring for a key role supporting warehouse operations within a leading manufacturing facility.
The Role:
As a Warehouse Operator, you’ll play a vital part in the smooth operation of a GMP‑critical warehouse. You will manage the receipt, control and issue of GMP and non‑GMP materials, maintain essential consumables and equipment supplies, and ensure compliance with all regulatory and safety standards.
This position directly supports operational teams, helping ensure that production and laboratory areas have everything they need to run efficiently.
Key Responsibilities:
Warehouse Operations
* Receive, inspect, control and issue GMP and non‑GMP materials
* Support stock management of consumables, in‑house supplies, engineering stores items, and industrial gases
* Perform inspection and sampling of raw materials to agreed schedules
* Pick/pack/ship materials as required
* Operate forklift trucks and manual handling equipment (training provided if needed)
GMP, Quality & Safety
* Follow all GMP and safety procedures at all times
* Maintain your GMP training records in line with training plans
* Ensure logbooks are accurate and up to date
* Conduct routine temperature, pressure and equipment calibration checks
Housekeeping & Continuous Improvement
* Maintain high housekeeping standards across warehouse areas
* Report equipment issues, shortages or problems promptly
* Actively contribute to continuous improvement activities
Teamwork & Communication
* Communicate effectively with internal departments and colleagues
* Demonstrate strong reliability, timekeeping and a customer‑focused approach
* Participate in on‑call cover as the warehouse representative (according to rota and competence)
What You’ll Bring:
* Warehouse experience – essential
* GMP experience – desirable but not required
* Knowledge of SAP, WMS or MS Office (Excel, Word) – desirable
* Positive attitude, strong communication skills, reliability and willingness to learn
