How You'll Contribute to the Team:
The Insurance Claims Manager provides claim administration support for corporate and project-specific insurance programs including workers' compensation, general liability, auto, property, and environmental/pollution. This role collaborates with internal and external stakeholders to support the insurance policy renewal process and manage insurance-related incidents, including gathering, submitting, and reporting claim information. The role requires adherence to industry guidelines, updating internal processes, and ensuring accurate and timely claims submission to expedite approval and payment.
Primary Responsibilities:
1. Develop and maintain understanding of partnership and management contracts to understand insurance requirements.
2. Manage documentation and submission process for all types of insurance claims.
3. Facilitate timely reporting of incidents and claims, verify completion, and follow through to conclusion.
4. Review incident reports, support employees and leads, and ensure proper documentation.
5. Monitor and communicate claim progress with stakeholders.
6. Track claim process phases and deadlines proactively.
7. Manage large, complex claims, coordinating with multiple parties to expedite settlements.
8. Maintain organized claim records, including expenses and settlements.
9. Assist with insurance policy renewals, gathering necessary information and documentation.
10. Build relationships with internal and external stakeholders, including brokers, insurers, and legal counsel.
11. Support premium payment processes, invoicing, and budgeting.
12. Represent the Insurance Risk Management team in meetings as needed.
13. Promote Corvias culture, mission, values, and uphold professionalism.
14. Evaluate and improve administrative and operational processes.
15. Identify claim trends and alert relevant teams.
16. Stay current with insurance regulations and compliance standards.
17. Travel to locations as needed for support.
18. Perform other duties as assigned.
Role Requirements:
* 5+ years' multi-line insurance experience, preferably in property management or insurance sectors, with increasing responsibilities.
* Knowledge of managing corporate insurance programs across multiple entities.
* Ability to interpret insurance policies and contract language.
* Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to handle stressful situations professionally.
* Proficiency in managing multiple projects with tact and persistence.
* Successful track record in expediting large claims involving multiple stakeholders.
* Effective verbal and written communication skills with all organizational levels and external partners.
* Ability to work cross-functionally and build relationships.
* Maintain confidentiality and exercise mature judgment.
* Self-motivated, positive attitude, team-oriented, with a focus on collaboration and deadlines.
* Advanced Microsoft Office skills; property management software knowledge preferred.
* Ability to adapt to changing priorities and manage workload effectively.
* Willingness to travel up to 30%.

Benefits:
The salary range is estimated at $95,000 to $110,000 annually, with potential bonuses. We offer comprehensive benefits including health plans, 401(k), paid time off, holidays, volunteer time, insurance coverage, parental and military leave, FSA, employee assistance, and tuition reimbursement.
