Maintenance Shift Engineer
Stoke On Trent Staffordshire
£45,444.25 + £5,000 shift allowance
TXM Recruit is partnering with a prominent automation and intralogistics company to hire a skilled maintenance engineer for their site in Stoke On Trent. These roles involve maintaining and optimizing state-of-the-art machinery to ensure seamless operations at the distribution facility.
Shift Pattern
* 3 shift
* 6am 2pm/2pm 10pm/10pm 6am (Rotating weekly)
Key Responsibilities
1. Perform mechanical disassembly and reassembly tasks, basic field wiring, equipment calibration, and system testing.
2. Efficiently manage time using CMMS, aiming for over 90% utilization.
3. Complete reactive repairs within set timeframes to minimize downtime.
4. Conduct servicing and repairs of installed products, taking hands-on ownership of issues to achieve swift resolutions.
5. Interpret electrical schematics and work confidently with 415V motor controls.
6. Prioritize health and safety by conducting thorough risk assessments.
7. Demonstrate strong mechanical skills, including the ability to read and follow assembly drawings.
8. Follow setup instructions, assembly guides, and checklists with precision.
9. Display exceptional attention to detail and follow-up capabilities.
10. Understand and work with control systems.
