About the role
We are looking for an experienced Psychotherapist to join our developing Clinical Team based at Bramfield House School. In this exciting role, you will work collaboratively to deliver bespoke assessment and intervention plans for pupils with complex communication needs, autism and associated learning and emotional needs. You will implement a holistic, therapeutic approach to help our pupils in their daily lives, ensuring they are safe, comfortable and healthy. You will undertake all aspects of Psychotherapy clinical duties, adhere to professional and regulatory guidelines, carry out specialist individual assessments and interventions, and prepare relevant documentation, including writing reports. A significant element of this role will be working alongside the onsite clinical team to continue developing the clinical service provision, including providing support and training to staff and parents.
Essential Criteria
* Evidence of recognised professional qualification as Psychotherapist, either Level 7 (e.g. Master’s degree) or above, or Level 6 relevant degree alongside relevant therapeutic diploma/s and experience of working with relevant client group and using relevant methods of service delivery
* Accredited member of one or more of the following bodies: HCPC, BACP, BABCP, PTUK, NCPC, UKCP
* Integrative therapist, CBT informed
* Not newly qualified, more than 2 years’ experience
* Specialist education setting experience/working therapeutically within a school/child and adolescent – preferred
* Clear and concise report writing relating to clinical and research activities
* Experience of working with people with neurodivergence and/or complex needs (e.g., complex trauma, neurodevelopmental differences, mental health needs)
* Ability to work independently as agreed under supervision
* Experience of multi-professional work teams or services within designated speciality
* Evidence of continuing professional development relevant to the setting
* Full valid UK driving licence and access to own vehicle
