Overview
An exciting opportunity for a Small Animal Veterinary Surgeon to join Stamford Veterinary Centre on either a 12-month fixed term or permanent basis. The role offers a varied caseload with a mix of consulting and surgical duties. We welcome applications from vets working towards or holding postgraduate qualifications. Salary up to £75,000 DOE plus up to £5,000 Relocation Allowance.
Responsibilities
* Deliver a high standard of clinical care across a varied caseload with a mix of consults and surgeries.
* Provide medical and surgical services for small animals in a first opinion and referral-capable practice.
* Participate in the on-call rota (1 in 7) which includes a Saturday AM clinic (8.30am–12.30pm).
* Contribute to a sustainable rota and support continuity of care for clients, with optional time off in lieu for out-of-hours work.
* Engage in professional development through CPD, certificates, and other learning opportunities.

We are a first opinion and referral practice with cardiology, internal medicine, and diagnostic imaging services; located in Stamford, Lincolnshire. We offer our own Out-of-Hours service and discuss OOH remuneration during the interview stage.

* 6 vets including RCVS Advanced Practitioners in Small Animal Cardiology, Internal Medicine, and Diagnostic Imaging
* 9 nurses and 9 support staff
* Well-equipped facilities including two operating theatres, dedicated feline/canine areas, digital imaging, advanced Doppler ultrasound, 24-hour ECG Holter monitor, ophthalmic equipment, MMP orthopaedic kit, and in-house laboratory

Salary and Requirements
