Conveyancing Assistant – Permanent Position Location: Keighley Division: Swift Commercial Swift Commercial Division is recruiting on behalf of our client for a permanent Conveyancing Assistant based in Keighley. The Role As a Conveyancing Assistant, you will be responsible for managing the final stages of the residential conveyancing process, ensuring all post-completion matters are handled efficiently and accurately. Key Responsibilities * Submitting applications to HM Land Registry and tracking their progress * Responding to requisitions within required deadlines * Managing and updating internal case management systems * Preparing and submitting Stamp Duty Land Tax (SDLT) returns * Liaising with clients, lenders, and solicitors to ensure timely completion of post-completion matters * Filing and archiving completed documents and case files * Preparing contracts and providing administrative support to partners Candidate Requirements * Previous experience in a conveyancing or legal support role (essential) * Office-based availability (no remote work) * Excellent attention to detail and the ability to meet deadlines * Strong organisational and administrative skills * Confident communication and interpersonal skills * A proactive, positive approach with a willingness to learn * Proficiency in case management systems and Microsoft Office What We Offer * Monday to Friday, 8:30am – 5:00pm * Salary depends on level of experience between £26.000 and £30,000 * Supportive and collaborative working environment * Opportunities for career development, progression, and training * Competitive salary and benefits package * Modern office with excellent transport links * 28 days’ holiday (including bank holidays) Click to Apply Please contact Alison Owens at our Swift Temps Ltd Bradford office
