A social housing provider is looking for a multiskilled joiner to join their team in Chesterfield on a permanent basis.
• Working hours per week- 40, Monday to Friday

Your new role
Joinery duties:
To overhaul/repair and maintain wooden,posite and UPVC doors, door frames, windows, window frames etc.
To repair / renew internal doors
To reglaze properties as and when required
To secure properties by boarding up as and when required including replacing door locks when necessary
To replace timber floors, skirting boards and architraves
To repair and/or renew garden fences and gates
To ensure that all aspects of Health and Safety regulations are adhered to at all times
Multiskilled duties will include: plumbing, plastering, painting, tiling. Must be fullypetent at these skills ( able to fully 1st and 2nd fix a kitchen and bathroom).
What you'll need to succeed
Must have NVQ/City & Guilds/Equivalent
Must have full uk driving license
Ideally will have worked in social housing maintenance in the past.
Preferred to have asbestos awareness, working @ heights, manual handling, h&s etc. but not essential as they can put you through any required courses when starting.
