Are you a chartered Town Planning Director in the Birmingham/Midlands market wanting to play a key part in our ambitious growth strategy? Do you have a proven track record in securing and delivering planning projects across the region? Have you led and mentored teams and have a keen eye for identifying and pursuing opportunities for growth? If so, we would love to hear from you.
We are looking for a Town Planning Director to join our Birmingham office, located in the heart of the city centre with easy access to public transport. Town Planning works in collaboration with other disciplines, and you will be part of a large planning team delivering projects across a range of sectors. There is significant opportunity for further growth across the Midlands region.
About You
* Chartered Town Planner operating at Director level (or experienced Associate Director).
* Excellent technical planning skills and a commercial mindset.
* Experience in Local Plan Examination hearings, planning appeals and inquiries.
* Leadership and mentoring experience.
* Knowledge and experience from within the Birmingham/Midlands market, preferably from a competing consultancy or private sector organisation.
Responsibilities
* Develop and deliver business development strategy for the region.
* Lead and mentor the planning team.
* Build and maintain relationships with clients and stakeholders.
* Play a key role in the growth strategy of the office and deliver planning projects across various sectors.
