Overview
Axcis Education is delighted to partner with nursery on the edge of Torquay, who are seeking a dedicated Preschool Room Leader to join their amazing team. The nursery hours are 8.15-.17.30. You will be paid between £13.85-£15.15 p/h, depending on previous experience and qualifications. You must be a Level 2 or a Level 3 experienced nursery practitioner on this position.
Responsibilities
* Leading and supporting your team to ensure high-quality care and education
* Overseeing the safeguarding of children
* Implementing and reviewing learning plans to ensure each child\'s development is supported
* Providing strong leadership to promote positive relationships within the team
* Ensuring that all nursery policies and procedures are followed
About You & Qualifications
* You have a Level 2 or Level 3 qualification in childcare (essential)
* You have experience working in a childcare setting, with strong leadership and organisational skills
* You must be able to drive as we are located on the edge of Newton Abbot and Torquay (or must be able to be dropped off).
* You have a passion for working with children and helping them grow in a safe, nurturing environment
