We are working with an established company in Knowsley hiring for a Production Assistant to join their team, they have great benefits, good working hours and staff tend to stay with the company for a long time. The role involves supporting the manufacture and preparation of glassware and laboratory consumables within a GMP-compliant environment.
Laboratory Experience, or experience within Chemical & Pharmaceutical Manufacturing will be advantageous to your application.
Key Responsibilities
1. Shrink wrapping and labelling of products
2. Preparing packaging and product shipments
3. Cleaning and preparing products and work areas
4. Tube capping and boxing
5. Assisting with stock control of raw materials
6. Operating a pedestrian lift truck to load and unload products
7. Assisting with incoming deliveries and transferring goods to secondary storage facilities when required
8. Working in accordance with GMP (Good Manufacturing Practice) standards
9. Following company methods, processes, and procedures in line with the ISO 9001 Quality Management System
Requirements
10. Previous experience in a production or warehouse environment (desirable)
11. Basic computer literacy, including Microsoft Office
12. Familiarity with GMP standards (desirable)
13. Strong organisational skills with excellent attention to detail
14. Ability to maintain clear, concise, and accurate records
15. Team player with good communication and interpersonal skills
16. Ideally educated to GCSE level in Science and Mathematics (or equivalent)
