Physiotherapist Functional Assessor
Salary: £37,500 £49,934 (location-dependent)
Contract: Full-time
Working pattern: Hybrid (on-site & home-based)
Experience required: Minimum 1 year UK experience as an HCPC-registered Physiotherapist
About the Role
We are recruiting Physiotherapists across the UK to train and work as Functional Assessors, supporting the delivery of high-quality health assessments that contribute to important public services. Working within a multidisciplinary team, you will use your clinical expertise to assess individuals functional abilities through a combination of clinical observations, evidence reviews, and structured consultations. Full training is provided, and previous Functional Assessor experience is not required.

Key Responsibilities
* Conduct functional assessments with claimants using a structured, clinical approach
* Review medical evidence and produce high-quality clinical reports
* Work within professional standards and HCPC guidelines
* Maintain up-to-date knowledge of clinical best practice
* Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team and use clinical judgement to support fair and accurate decision-making
About You
To be considered for this role, you must:
* Be a HCPC-registered Physiotherapist
* Have a minimum of 1 years post-registration experience working as a Physiotherapist in the UK
* Possess strong clinical reasoning and communication skills
* Be comfortable working with technology in a hybrid environment
* Have a patient-centred approach with high professional standards
