The Role: You will be responsible for supporting classroom teachers in providing the best support possible to students ranging in the ages 5-16 years old, with various SEN and behavioural difficulties such as: Social, Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH) Oppositional Defiant Disorder (ODD) Conduct Disorder (CD) Obsessive Compulsive Disorder (OCD) Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD) Attention Deficit Disorder (ADD) Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) Metachromatic Leukodystrophy ( MLD) Speech and Language Difficulties Other behavioural needs An SEMH Teaching Assistant plays a vital role in supporting students with Social, Emotional, and Mental Health needs.
