If you're an experienced Class 1 Driver ready for a new challenge, this is your chance to work with one of the UK’s leading logistics providers and join our team at our Wickes site in Brackmills, Northampton.
As a Class 1 wagon and drag / drawbar you will be operating swap body vehicles. You will be responsible for accurate and yimely movement of our customer products.
You will be contracted to work 48 hours per week. Your working days will be Monday to Friday, starting between 18:00 and 21:00.

What you’ll do on a typical day:
* Responsible for the accurate, timely movement and delivery of our customers’ products
* Adhering to safe working practices, to ensure the safety of yourself and others at all times
* Conduct pre and post vehicle checks, raising any defects to the transport team
* Taking ownership of any issues upon delivery escalating to the team when necessary
What you need to succeed at GXO:
* A full UK driving licence with category class 1 entitlement
* A valid Driver Qualification Card (Driver CPC)
* Be in possession of a valid Digital Tachograph Card
* No more than 6 current penalty points
* Flexible and proactive approach
* No DR, DG, DD, BA, CD, AC, LC or TT99 endorsements with a conviction date within the previous 5 years
