The role
The Vice President, Brand Solutions is a senior commercial leader responsible for building, scaling, and managing a new multi-million-pound global revenue stream for ITV Studios. This leadership role will develop and drive strategic relationships with global media agencies, brand partners, and top-tier advertisers, with a specific focus on driving high-value investment from the world's largest agency groups.
The VP Brand Partnerships will architect global partnership packages, respond to global agency briefs, pitch major multi-market commercial solutions, and create premium partnership opportunities around ITV Studios' most recognisable and best-loved television IP.
In addition, they will collaborate with producers, creators, and internal creative teams to reimagine catalogue IP and co-develop new content franchises designed specifically for brand partnership. This role requires an exceptional commercial strategist with deep experience in a rights-driven media business (ideally TV), extensive global agency relationships, and a proven ability to build and scale commercial partnership lines from the ground up.
Main responsibilities
Global Media Agency Leadership
* Serve as the primary senior contact for 'The Big Six' global media agency holding companies.
* Build, nurture, and deepen relationships with senior decision-makers within agency investment, strategy, content, and partnerships teams.
* Establish Studio55 at ITV Studios as a must-have partner within global agency ecosystems.
* Drive high-value, multi-market investment conversations aligned to agency priorities and advertiser demand.
Global Package Development & Commercial Strategy
* Build global, multi-IP commercial packages combining broadcast, digital, social, creator-led, experiential, and product licensing rights across ITV Studios.
* Lead development of innovative brand partnership products that leverage:
o Tentpole unscripted entertainment brands
o Factual and scripted global formats
o Catalogue IP reimagined for brands
o Creator collaborations and new content franchises
* Create packages with rights frameworks that are globally scalable, commercially compelling, and contractually robust.
* Deliver fully costed, margin-positive commercial models.
Partnership Pitching & Revenue Delivery
* Lead proactive global pitches to agencies and brand partners.
* Respond to incoming RFPs and international agency briefs with best-in-class commercial solutions.
* Build persuasive storytelling and high-impact pitch materials that position ITV
Studios as a global premium partner.
* Own revenue delivery and growth targets global brand partnerships within Studio55.
Brand & Client Leadership
* Manage senior relationships with global brand partners across key categories (FMCG, tech, automotive, retail, finance, lifestyle, etc.).
* Identify whitespace opportunities and new sectors for international growth.
* Champion the role of content, IP, and creator-led storytelling in brand-building.
* Deliver partnership solutions that meet client marketing objectives while maximising ITV Studios' commercial value.
Creative Collaboration & Content Development
* Work with VP Brand Integrations, producers, format teams, creative executives, and external creators to:
o Reimagine catalogue IP for brand integration
o Facilitate new content opportunities specifically for brands
o Develop talent-led formats and social-first storytelling for brand partners
* Translate brand briefs into viable content solutions that maintain editorial integrity and audience value.
Rights & Contractual Excellence
* Apply expert understanding of rights-based media businesses to ensure:
o Global licensing, distribution, format, and commercial rights are respected
o Partner solutions are legally, creatively, and commercially tenable
* Work closely with legal and commercial affairs on rights structures, deal terms, and contract frameworks.
Internal Leadership & Cross-Functional Collaboration
* Work closely with the two VP Brand Integrations and the broader Brand Licensing leadership team to develop solid RTBs
* Engage and inspire global creative and production teams, format sales, digital studios, and country-level commercial teams.
* Build internal alignment around partnership opportunities, emerging agency needs, and commercial shifts.
* Provide strategic guidance to senior stakeholders across ITV Studios.
Contribute to broader Global Partnerships leadership initiatives and long-term planning
Skills you’ll need (minimum criteria)
* Extensive experience in global brand partnerships, media agency leadership, rights-based media, TV networks, or content-led commercial strategy and sales.
* Deep, existing relationships across major global agency networks.
* Proven success in building multi-million-pound partnership revenue lines from scratch.
* Strong understanding of rights frameworks, distribution models, format licensing, and global content ecosystems.
* Demonstrated ability to pitch and close seven-figure+ brand partnership deals.
* Exceptional commercial acumen and sophisticated negotiation skills.
* Fluent in the language of brand strategy, investment, creative content, and media planning.
* Strong experience developing content-based solutions for major advertisers.
* Ability to work with senior creative, production, and format development teams.
* Comfortable operating at C-suite/board level.
