Main Job Purpose:Working for a large Social Housing Provider, as a Clerk Of Works
Job Details:
We are seeking a highly experienced and detail-oriented Clerk of Works to oversee quality assurance andpliance on a new-build social housing development. This is a fantastic opportunity to play a key role in delivering high-quality homes that make a real difference in themunity.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Monitor construction activities to ensurepliance with specifications, drawings, and building regulations.
2. Conduct regular site inspections and produce detailed reports on workmanship, materials, and progress.
3. Identify and report any defects or deviations from agreed standards.
4. Liaise with contractors, consultants, and the client team to resolve issues and maintain quality.
5. Ensure health and safety standards are upheld at all times.
6. Maintain accurate records of inspections andmunications.
Requirements:
7. Proven experience as a Clerk of Works on residential construction projects, ideally within social housing.
8. Strong knowledge of building regulations, NHBC standards, and construction best practices.
9. Excellent attention to detail andmunication skills.
10. Relevant qualifications (, CIOB, ICW membership) are desirable.
11. Ability to work independently and proactively.
