Sales & Events Manager
Location: East London
Salary: Up to £40,000 + commission + bonus
Working Pattern: Full-time, 5 days per week (primarily Monday to Friday with occasional weekends)
Hybrid working available post-probation
My client is a vibrant, high-volume events venue with a strong reputation for delivering a diverse programme of private hires, live events and community-led experiences. They are now seeking a Sales & Events Manager to drive private hire revenue and oversee the full client journey from enquiry through to delivery.
This is a commercially focused, client-facing role combining sales, account management and event coordination. You will play a key role in growing the venues private hire offering while ensuring a seamless and engaging client experience.
Key Responsibilities
Manage and convert inbound event enquiries into confirmed bookings
Proactively generate new business opportunities and build a strong pipeline
Develop tailored proposals aligned to client briefs and venue capabilities
Manage the full client journey from initial enquiry through to post-event follow-up
Build and maintain strong relationships to drive repeat business and referrals
Collaborate closely with operations, creative and kitchen teams to ensure seamless delivery
Maintain accurate CRM records, tracking all activity, proposals and client communications
Monitor sales performance, pipeline and revenue targets
Stay informed on market trends and competitor activity to support commercial strategy
About You
Minimum 3 years experience in sales and events within a venue or hospitality environment
Strong understanding of the London events market and venue landscape
Proven track record of converting enquiries and driving revenue
Confident communicator with strong relationship-building skills
Highly organised with the ability to manage multiple events simultaneously
Commercially aware, proactive and results-driven
Passionate about hospitality, events and creating memorable experiences
