Job Description
Multi Trade Carpenter
Covering South West / M4 Corridor
Location: Mobile
Perform a wide range of tasks, including repairs, maintenance, and installations.
Conduct general property maintenance and reactive repairs for commercial and residential properties.
· Diagnose faults and implement effective solutions using analytical skills.
· Ensure high standards of workmanship and customer service in all projects.
· Conduct property MOTs and void works as required.
· Perform heavy lifting when necessary.

Responsibilities
The Multi Trade Carpenter will be carrying out:
· Execute a wide range of carpentry tasks, including intricate joinery work, custom installations, and structural repairs
· Conduct comprehensive property maintenance and reactive repairs for both commercial and residential properties
· Perform detailed property assessments, including MOTs and void works
· Implement planned preventative maintenance (PPM) strategies
· Respond to emergency call-outs, providing swift and effective solutions
· Utilise advanced diagnostic techniques to identify complex faults and implement innovative solutions
· Collaborate with other trades to complete multi-faceted projects
· Ensure compliance with all relevant health and safety regulations, including the Building Safety Act 2022
Qualifications / Experience
To be successful in the Multi Trade Carpenter role you must have:
* NVQ Level 2 (Ideally Level 3) in Carpentry and Joinery or equivalent
* At least 5 years' experience in carpentry in commercial properties
· Full UK Driving Licence
Ideal additional experience:
* Ideally Fire Door Installation and Maintenance certification from a recognized body
* Understanding of the Building Safety Act 2022 and Fire Safety Order (2005)
· Proficiency with project management tools, particularly OneTrace
· Additional certifications in related trades (e.g., plumbing, electrical work) are highly desirable
