Your Role
Oxa has a matrix team structure. As a product manager, you will be a member of the Product Manager family whilst being immersed within a Engineering team that focuses on a market segment or product domain.
1. Working with customers, stakeholders and leaders to set the vision for your area of product responsibility, including both a long range 3-5 year vision as well as a detailed vision for the next release.
2. Working closely with the engineering lead of your team in creating a product roadmap and maintaining a backlog of features and ideas
3. Determining explicit and implicit customer needs, and translating them into product requirements
4. Driving iterative exploration of value propositions and product ideas, and rapidly testing assumptions using data and customer feedback
5. Participate in customer calls and visits to understand customer needs
6. Supporting the Product Manager of Oxa Driver to build a high level product roadmap and maintain alignment to product and business objectives
7. Working closely with engineers and designers to ensure successful delivery of product features
8. Implementing relevant analytics to track feature performance and quantify problems
9. Tracking and reporting team activity to Product-Engineering management.
10. Gathering and addressing feedback and feature requests from customer and Solutions teams.
11. Monitoring compliance to applicable standards and practices, raise risks and issues
12. Supporting the Commercial team and Solutions team in their discovery, evaluation and delivery of new business opportunities.
13. Producing product documentation in support of sales and marketing activities.
Requirements
What you need to succeed:
14. Substantial product management experience in a software engineering or robotics domain
15. Bachelor’s/Master’s degree (or equivalent) in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or related field.
16. Track record of fostering cross-functional collaboration between engineering, design, marketing, sales and other departments
17. An analytical mind that can work in a fast-paced complex matrix environment
Extra kudos if you have:
18. Experience taking a product to market and managing a product with paying customers.
19. Experience in software engineering or robotics, in a related field
20. An MBA
21. PMP Certification
