An opportunity has arisen within Aberdeenshire Health and Social Care Partnership for a full time Community Mental Health Nurse Band 6 to work in North Aberdeenshire CMHN team. Base may be flexible with requirement to work across the North localities. We work in a hybrid manner and between hot desk locations.

This post is FULL TIME Monday-Friday 9am-5pm.

We are looking for a motivated, flexible and highly skilled practitioner who possesses excellent communication and clinical skills. You will be responsible for managing a caseload, working with patients within the severe and enduring mental illness population to fully assess and work collaboratively towards a person centred and focussed care plan. You should possess excellent risk assessment skills and the ability to work within a wide MDT.

This post will involve working across the North Aberdeenshire area so the ability to self-motivate and manage your own time is essential.

You should be a Registered Mental Nurse with post registration experience and be a car owner and driver/acceess to a car.

Additional Information For Candidates
As from 1/4/26, the Agenda for Change full-time working week will be reducing from 37 to 36 hours per week. Part time hours will be reduced pro-rata. However, there will be a corresponding increase in the hourly rate so that pay will not be affected.
