Band 6 Therapeutic Radiographer – Treatment (Yorkshire)
Location: Yorkshire
Pay: £26 – £30 per hour (potentially higher depending on experience) – umbrella payments accepted
Start Date: ASAP

Overview:
An excellent opportunity has arisen for an experienced Band 6 Therapeutic Radiographer to join a leading Radiotherapy Department in Yorkshire. This is an agency position ideal for a motivated and adaptable professional confident in delivering high‑quality treatment using advanced radiotherapy technology.
Key Responsibilities:
* Deliver safe, accurate, and patient‑centred radiotherapy treatment in accordance with departmental and national standards.
* Operate Varian linear accelerators and utilise the ARIA oncology information system.
* Collaborate effectively with oncologists, physicists, dosimetrists, and fellow radiographers to ensure precise treatment delivery.
* Participate in daily quality assurance, imaging verification, and workflow optimisation.
* Provide compassionate care and clear communication throughout each patient’s treatment journey.
Requirements:
* HCPC registration as a Therapeutic Radiographer.
* Previous UK radiotherapy treatment experience at Band 6 level (minimum 12 months preferred).
* Proficient in ARIA (Varian) record‑and‑verify systems and comfortable working with modern treatment platforms such as TrueBeam, Halcyon, or Clinac.
* Familiarity with Eclipse treatment‑planning systems is advantageous.
* Excellent teamwork skills and adaptability within a multidisciplinary setting.
