A leading international energy company is seeking an experienced Technical Safety Engineer to join its Aberdeen-based team on a temporary PAYE contract basis. This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to high-profile offshore projects within a business committed to safe, sustainable energy production. The contract is expected to last approximately 5 months, with potential for extension.
Contract Details:
* Start Date: ASAP (subject to background checks).
* Duration: Until 30th November 2025 (potential for extension).
* Working Hours: Full-time, 37.5 hours per week (Monday – Friday).
* Location: Kingswells, Aberdeen – hybrid working may be considered, but attendance in the office up to 4 days per week is required.
* Engagement Type: PAYE Contractor only.
* Probation: 1-month probationary period.
* Note: Travel to/from the Aberdeen office is not reimbursed.
Key Responsibilities:
* Delivering material changes to the asset safety cases in preparation for the formation of a new independent joint venture.
* Supporting implementation of the asset Process Safety Improvement Plan.
* Contributing to safety case review actions within the project.
* Assisting in delivering regulatory technical safety actions and hydrocarbon release prevention plans for the assets.
About You:
* Degree-qualified in a relevant engineering discipline.
* Proven experience managing material changes to UKCS Safety Cases.
* Strong track record in process safety, specifically within offshore oil and gas operations in the UKCS.
