Job Advert: Science Teacher (Unqualified Teachers Welcome)

Contract Type: Full-Time

A dynamic and forward-thinking school is seeking a passionate and enthusiastic Science Teacher to join the team on a full-time basis, starting immediately. This role is open to both qualified teachers and unqualified candidates with strong subject knowledge and a desire to inspire students.

Key Responsibilities:
1. Deliver engaging science lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4 (Key Stage 5 desirable but not essential)
2. Plan and deliver lessons in line with the national curriculum
3. Support students in developing curiosity, critical thinking, and a love for science
4. Monitor student progress and provide constructive feedback
5. Maintain a safe, inclusive, and stimulating classroom environment
6. Collaborate with colleagues to support whole-school initiatives
Requirements:
7. Strong subject knowledge in Biology, Chemistry, or Physics
8. Teaching qualification (QTS or equivalent) preferred but not essential
9. Experience working with young people in an educational setting
10. Excellent communication and classroom management skills
11. Commitment to safeguarding and promoting student welfare
