We currently have exciting opportunities for Lunchtime Organiser SEN to join our team at Pear Tree High School.
We’re Looking For
We are recruiting for a part-time Lunchtime Organiser to work in our special educational needs high school. You will support lunchtime activities, promote healthy eating, facilitate lunchtime clubs, and assist students with feeding and changing as needed. The successful applicant must work effectively with pupils, parents, governors, and staff.
Position Details
This is a Grade 2, permanent post working 12.5 hours per week from 11:30am - 2:00pm during term time only. The starting salary is £7,479, with a full-time equivalent of £24,027. The role is expected to start in September 2025.
Main Responsibilities
* Supervise students in dining areas and other designated areas.
* Support students during lunchtime clubs such as football, outdoor play, art, and sensory story clubs.
* Assist at tables, support students' food choices, and help develop their skills.
* Report serious incidents and accidents to senior staff.
* Attend to students with minor injuries or who are unwell, providing first aid or reassurance as needed.
