Job Title: Class 2 Driver - HGV - Cat C Location: Eccles Pay £13.75-£15.41 per hour Job Description: We are seeking a reliable and experienced Class 2 Driver to fulfil an ongoing contract in Eccles. The successful candidate will be responsible for completing 6-10 local shop deliveries per day. This role requires a high level of professionalism and customer service. Initially the role will be to cover sickness and holidays cover. Due to the insurance criteria applicants need to have no more than 6 points on licence. This could lead to a permanent position for the right candidate, once full time benefits such as free breakdown cover and discounted insurances like car pet and home insurance. Shares in the company are also available once a driver goes full time. Key Responsibilities: Safely and efficiently deliver goods to various shop locations. Ensure timely deliveries and maintain a high standard of customer service. Perform vehicle checks and report any issues. Maintain accurate delivery records. Requirements: Valid Class 2 driving license. Ability to provide two work-related references. Strong communication and organizational skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
