Mothercare Global Brand are searching for a an Assistant Merchandiser to join the team on a Fixed Term Contract basis.
This individual will work closely with the Buying, Finance, and Merchandising team as well as having close communication with the Supply Chain.
Key Accountabilities/Responsibilities
* Working closely with suppliers to ensure that stocks are booked on time
* Managing stocks into the business ensuring that supplier availability dates are being met
* Analysis of Franchise Partner Sales and Stock
* Option Planning for new season
* Supporting Senior Merchandiser to prepare sign off packs and analysis
Knowledge & Skills
* Commercially astute
* Highly Analytical
* Ability to work at a fast pace
* Highly Organised
* Experienced Assistant Buyer with category management skills
* Knowledge of using Microsoft applications including Excel, Powerpoint, Word and Outlook
* Buying disciplines and teamwork
* Strong analytical and organisational skills
* Communication and relationship building skills across all stakeholders
* Time management
