Business Development Executive
Location: Stotfold, Hitchin
Salary: £35,000 – £40,000 realistic OTE up to £50,000 (monthly activity and performance bonuses)
Job Type: Permanent, office-based (hybrid considered after training)

Business Development Executive – Details:
1. Office-based role, Monday to Friday, 8:00am – 5:00pm (hybrid working considered after training)
2. Monthly bonus scheme rewarding meaningful sales activity, booked meetings, and successful conversions – offering achievable OTE up to £50,000
3. 21 days annual leave (rising annually to 25 days) plus Bank Holidays
Business Development Executive – Responsibilities:
4. Contact potential clients via phone, email and LinkedIn to generate qualified leads and book meetings for the senior sales team
5. Maintain accurate contact data using the company CRM system, researching new contacts where needed
6. Support the wider sales team with follow-ups and presentations where required
7. Manage incoming exhibition leads and proactively convert them into appointments
8. Build strong relationships with key contacts in target sectors to create repeat opportunities
Business Development Executive – What We’re Looking For:
9. Driven, enthusiastic and motivated to succeed in a sales environment
10. Strong communication skills, confident speaking with decision makers over the phone
11. Experience working in a B2B or technical/industrial environment
12. Resilient, self-motivated and able to manage a high level of outbound activity
13. Proficient using CRM systems and platforms such as LinkedIn and Glenigan
14. A positive, team-oriented approach with the confidence to bring new ideas
