Seeking a graduate to support the Sales Ledger team within a growing and changing company during a system implementation.
We’re working closely with a company who is experiencing an exciting period of growth and transformation. The business is currently going through an implementation of a new financial system, we are seeking a dynamic and motivated Finance Assistant to join our team on a temporary basis. This is a fantastic opportunity for a recent graduate looking to gain hands-on experience in the finance sector.
The company is seeking a detail-orientated person who is eager to learn and start their career in finance. Full training will be provided and you’ll be working with a team of experienced accountants.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Assist with data entry and reconciliation during the implementation of our new financial system.
2. Support the finance team in day-to-day tasks, including raising of invoices, reconciliation of cash, and liaising with external suppliers.
3. Help maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records.
4. Work within a “buddy” system with another Sales Ledger Clerk to support their team.
5. Perform other administrative tasks as required to support the finance team.
Requirements:
6. Recent graduate with a degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, or a related field.
7. Strong numerical and analytical skills.
8. Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
9. Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook).
10. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
11. Strong communication skills and a proactive attitude.
