Conduct comprehensive vehicle examinations, including electronic vehicle health checks
Identify non-routine faults and defects in the workshop or during road tests
Carry out repairs and servicing of customer vehicles in accordance with technical standards
Provide excellent, courteous, and responsive service to colleagues and customers
Communicate vehicle progress and technical issues effectively to the service team and customers
Support and mentor apprentices within the workshop
Assist in developing and implementing improved work methods to enhance efficiencyRequirements of a Vehicle Technician:
NVQ Level 3 or equivalent in Vehicle Maintenance and Repair
Proven experience as a Vehicle Technician, ideally within a main dealer environment
Full UK driving licence is essential
MOT licence desirable but not mandatory
Ability to work within structured processes and promote best practices
Customer-focused with strong communication skills
First-time fix mentality and commitment to ongoing learning
