Working pattern: Part-time, term-time only (working for 39 weeks per year plus 6.05 weeks annual leave, which will increase after 5 years' continuous service)

Manor Primary is a large, two form entry school in Uckfield, set in large school grounds. Our ethos is "Everyone Matters, Everyone Helps and Everyone Succeeds" and this is supported by our core values of Respect, Responsibility, Curiosity, Creativity and Perseverance.


We are looking for an Individual Needs Assistant to support a child with SEN. The role will be based within our High Needs Facility, joining a team of Individual Needs Assistants, supported by the HNF Lead and the Senior Leadership Team. Your time will be spent supporting the child in the classroom as well as in the HNF for some sessions. There is also the opportunity to add hours to the contract.


Previous experience of this kind of role will be an advantage but not essential. The successful candidate will be someone who is kind, patient and able to take time to develop positive relationships with the children you work with. You should be someone who enjoys being positive and encouraging children, resilient and able to adapt quickly to changing situations. You should have good literacy and maths skills. Above all, the successful candidate will be committed to making a positive contribution to the school life of our pupils.
