My client is an independent national Planning consultancy, and they are looking for a Senior Planner to join their Central Cardiff team. This is an excellent opportunity to progress your career and assist in the delivery of exceptional planning services, across various sectors, including education, energy, health, residential, retail, and major mixed-use and regeneration schemes.
Responsibilities:
1. Lead and manage planning applications and appeals
2. Provide expert planning advice to clients and stakeholders
3. Develop and implement strategic planning initiatives
4. Conduct site assessments and feasibility studies
5. Liaise with local authorities and other regulatory bodies
6. Mentor junior planners and support staff development
Requirements:
7. Degree in Town Planning or a related field
8. Chartered member of the Royal Town Planning Institute (RTPI)
9. Significant experience in a planning role
10. Excellent knowledge of UK planning legislation and procedures
11. Strong project management and leadership skills
12. Exceptional communication and negotiation abilities
