Job Description
3. Ensure financial controls are effectively designed, implemented, and maintained.
4. Provide expert advice to stakeholders on financial control matters.
5. Conduct regular reviews and assessments of financial processes.
6. Support the implementation of new accounting standards and policies.
7. Work closely with internal audit teams to address control gaps.
8. Develop and deliver training on financial controls to relevant teams.
9. Prepare detailed reports and recommendations for senior management.
10. Collaborate with various departments to enhance financial governance.
The Successful Applicant
A successful Financial Controls Business Partner should have:
11. A professional qualification in accounting (e.g., ACA, ACCA, or CIMA).
12. Strong technical knowledge of financial controls and processes.
13. Experience in the insurance industry or a related field.
14. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
15. Proficiency in financial systems and reporting tools.
16. Strong communication skills to liaise effectively with stakeholders.
