McCrory Access Solutions market leaders throughout the UK and Ireland Is seeking a motivated and dedicated Scaffolding Apprentice to join our team. Key Responsibilities:
* Assist scaffolding teams with the erection, modification, and dismantling of scaffolding structures.
* Load, unload, and organise scaffolding materials and equipment at job sites.
* Ensure work areas are clean, organized, and free of hazards to maintain safety standards.
* Learn and follow detailed blueprints and instructions provided by experienced team members.
* Use tools and equipment correctly and safely under supervision.
* Inspect scaffolding structures and materials to identify potential safety risks or defects.
* Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors to ensure smooth workflow.
* Attend and actively participate in safety briefings and training sessions.
* Assist in performing routine maintenance and checks on scaffolding equipment and tools.
* Work collaboratively within a team to meet project deadlines and expectations.
* Travel to various job sites across Northern Ireland and Dublin as required.
Skills
* Proficiency in using power tools such as drills, saws, and grinders.
* Ability to work at heights safely and confidently.
* Strong problem-solving skills to address any issues that arise during scaffold assembly or use.
* Excellent teamwork skills with the ability to communicate effectively with colleagues on-site.
* Physical stamina to perform manual labour over extended periods.
