Overview
Join to apply for the Facilities Manager role at Southern Housing. We’re looking for an experienced Facilities Manager to ensure Southern Housing offices are safe, compliant, well managed and presentable workplaces for staff, visitors and contractors. This role reports to Head of Facilities, and you will maintain office and building compliance within current legislation, following Southern Housing policies and procedures. You will ensure Facilities Management provides a service that supports equality and diversity.
Responsibilities
* Manage a team of Facilities Officers and drive high team performance; role model a culture aligned with our HEART values.
* Work with contractors and manage/deliver planned and reactive maintenance works/projects, ensuring they are carried out to optimum standard and follow value for money principles.
* Support internal customers by providing outstanding customer service while ensuring the facilities and working environment are to the required standard for colleagues to perform their roles effectively.
* Travel between offices (e.g., Farringdon and Croydon) and other locations across the Southern Housing footprint when required; adopt a flexible approach.
