Finance Coordinator Team Lead – South

About The Role
Lead the South project accounting team covering two Business Units delivering multi‑discipline projects. Manage line reports located in Bristol, Plymouth and Bournemouth offices. Act as finance partnering support to project teams, ensuring project margins and revenues are correctly represented and client billing requirements are met. Report directly to the Finance Coordinator Manager and balance a portfolio of projects while managing the South team.
Role Responsibilities
Team Leadership
* Line manage a small team of Finance Coordinators, supporting day‑to‑day queries and workload balance.
* Provide training and support to upskill new or developing team members.
* Act as the first point of contact for resolving project finance issues within the region.
Regional Delivery
Deliver core Finance Coordinator responsibilities for the regional project portfolio, including:
* Project setup and maintenance
* Invoicing
* Purchasing and fee tracking
* Forecast support
* Financial reviews and KPI tracking
Process Consistency and Quality
* Ensure accurate and consistent data entry across finance systems.
* Support the implementation of standard processes and tools across the team.
* Liaise with the Finance Coordinator Manager to elevate systemic issues or risks.
