Civil Engineer – Drainage, Infrastructure & Flood Risk

An established and growing civil engineering consultancy is seeking a Civil Engineer to join their team on a fully remote basis. This role offers the opportunity to work on a diverse portfolio of development-led projects across the UK, with a strong technical focus on drainage, infrastructure, flood risk and earthworks design.
The successful candidate will play a key role in the design and delivery of civil engineering solutions, supporting projects from feasibility through to detailed design.
Key Responsibilities
Design of drainage and infrastructure solutions for residential and commercial developments
Preparation of Flood Risk Assessments, Drainage Strategies and supporting technical reports
Earthworks design, including levels strategies and cut & fill assessments
Production of technical drawings and designs using AutoCAD and drainage design software
Liaising with internal teams, clients and external stakeholders to deliver compliant and efficient solutions
Supporting planning applications and responding to technical queries where requiredCandidate Profile
Degree qualified in Civil Engineering or a related discipline
Experience in drainage, infrastructure and flood risk design within a consultancy environment
Working knowledge of AutoCAD and drainage software such as MicroDrainage or InfoDrainage
Understanding of UK planning and design standards
Strong technical, communication and problem-solving skills
Ability to work independently in a remote environmentWhat’s on Offer
