Are you an experienced Electrical Estimator looking to join a dynamic and growing team?
We are currently seeking a skilled and proactive Electrical Estimator to join our team. This is an exciting opportunity for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is keen to take on a key role in delivering quality electrical projects from start to finish.
Key Responsibilities:
As an Electrical Estimator, your core responsibilities will include:
* Tender Preparation & Pricing: You will be responsible for analysing, preparing, pricing, and submitting tenders, ensuring projects are priced to maximise turnover and profitability.
* Client Interaction: You will build positive relationships with clients, offering tailor-made services and ensuring effective communication in delivering project programmes and presentations.
* Team Collaboration: You will liaise with operations teams and subcontractors, ensuring all aspects of the project are in line with company expectations and standards.
* Site Surveys & Risk Management: Undertake site surveys to identify potential risks and work closely with surveyors to mitigate those risks.
* Leadership: You will act as a point of contact for direct reports, offering support and advice, while managing performance and promoting a positive team environment.
Who We’re Looking For:
The ideal candidate will have:
* Proven experience in Electrical Estimating, with a strong understanding of the tendering process.
* Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to liaise with senior stakeholders and clients effectively.
* Strong technical expertise, including the ability to conduct site surveys and analyse project risks.
* A proactive and collaborative approach to teamwork, with a focus on supporting others and ensuring the success of the team.
* A commitment to compliance with company processes and procedures, and a proactive approach to ongoing personal development.
