Job Overview
We are recruiting a Deputy Laundry Manager to work at Swansea Laundry, Llansamlet. The role involves leading a busy production environment that processes linen for hospitals and health‑care premises across South West Wales. Enthusiasm and motivation to lead the Laundry Production Unit are essential.
Responsibilities
* Lead the overall laundry production process in collaboration with the Lead Production Supervisor and Laundry Section Leaders.
* Ensure operational effectiveness of the Laundry Production Unit, monitoring service quality and liaising with customers.
* Manage staff and resources across the site to achieve optimum production levels.
Qualifications
* Experience working in a factory, production or health‑care environment.
* Experience working in a laundry production environment (desirable).
* Supervisory or management experience.
* Supervisory or management qualification (desirable).
Applicant Requirements
* Welsh language skills are desirable.
* For non‑UK or Republic of Ireland nationals, sponsorship for a Health and Care visa or Skilled Worker visa is required.
