Supply Teacher – Bristol (Bank Staff)
Vision for Education are looking for adaptable and enthusiastic Supply Teachers to work across a variety of schools in Bristol on a bank staff basis, starting immediately or from September.
This is a flexible supply teaching role, perfect for a Supply Teacher who enjoys working in different settings and wants complete control over their availability, with opportunities for both short-term and longer-term work.
We are seeking a reliable Supply Teacher who can step into classrooms, deliver pre-set work, and maintain a positive learning environment across primary and secondary schools.
About the Supply Teacher Role
As a Supply Teacher, you will work across a range of Bristol schools, covering lessons in the absence of the regular class teacher. The Supply Teacher role offers variety, flexibility, and the chance to gain experience in multiple educational settings.
This Supply Teacher position is ideal for qualified teachers who enjoy flexible working and building experience across different schools.
Responsibilities of the Supply Teacher
As a Supply Teacher, you will:
1. Deliver pre-prepared lessons across different subjects and year groups
2. Maintain classroom behaviour and a positive learning environment as a Supply Teacher
3. Ensure pupils remain on task and engaged with their learning
4. Follow school policies and procedures in each placement
5. Adapt quickly to new classroom settings as a Supply Teacher
6. Provide feedback to school staff where required
Flexible Supply Teacher Work (Bank Basis)
This Supply Teacher role is offered on a bank basis, giving you full flexibility to choose when you work.
7. Day-to-day supply as a Supply Teacher
8. Work across primary, secondary, and specialist settings
9. Choose your availability each week
10. No long-term commitment required
11. Opportunity for regular or occasional Supply Teacher work
What We’re Looking For
To be successful as a Supply Teacher, you must:
12. Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
13. Be confident working as a Supply Teacher in different school environments
14. Have strong classroom and behaviour management skills
15. Be flexible, reliable, and adaptable
16. Hold an Enhanced DBS (or be willing to obtain one)
