You must have the key skills that will enable you to provide an excellent generic housing management service to our customers and partners. You will be responsible and accountable for the implementation of all Housing Management policies and procedures and ensure compliance with current legislation, regulation and good practice. You should be able to communicate well at all levels and have a working knowledge of providing assistance to tenants and their families who have complex needs who are experiencing difficulties in sustaining their tenancy for a variety of reasons. Undertake an assessment of individual(s) housing need, providing advice and guidance on alternative housing options. Ability to record and report information accurately and concisely both verbally and in writing. Chartered Institute of Housing Level 2 or equivalent, and recent relevant experience of working in a frontline customer focused environment. The successful candidate will have access to West Lothian Council’s Pool Car Scheme in order to undertake approved business travel.
