We’re looking for an experienced and passionate Fish & Chip Shop Manager to lead one of our vibrant takeaway operations. If you’re driven by delivering fantastic food, outstanding service, and a smooth-running business, this is the role for you.
As a Fish & Chip Shop Manager, you’ll oversee the full operation - ensuring exceptional customer experiences, maintaining brand standards, and driving commercial performance. You’ll be the leader who motivates the team, champions quality, and keeps everything running like clockwork.
What you will be doing...
Keep presentation and cleanliness to the highest standard, front and back of house.
Deliver consistent service in line with brand expectations and Parkdean Resorts policies.
Lead from the front with a hands-on approach to ensure seamless day-to-day operations.
Train, develop, and motivate your team to deliver excellent service.
Onboard new starters and upskill existing team members to support their growth.
Monitor performance, hold regular 1:1s, and provide coaching and feedback.
Help build an inclusive, positive team culture where everyone can thrive.
Prepare rotas effectively, aligning labour spend with sales.
Manage stock levels, place orders, control wastage, and achieve GP targets.
Support marketing activity to boost sales and customer engagement.
Maintain accurate financial records including cash handling, takings, and reconciliation.
About you...
Proven experience managing a team in a fast-paced environment.
A strong customer-focused mindset with passion for quality service.
Confident working in a high-volume food & beverage environment.
Excellent organisation and the ability to juggle shifting priorities.
Experience in cash handling, stock management, and budgeting.
Flexibility to work weekends, evenings, and bank holidays.
Great communication and interpersonal skills.
Food Hygiene Level 2 & 3 certifications.
