Procurement Specialist – UK Defence - Bristol (Hybrid)
An exciting opportunity to join a leading aerospace & defence organisation. This role is ideal for a commercially minded procurement professional who enjoys operating in complex, regulated environments and taking real ownership of supplier performance and contract delivery.
Key responsibilities include:
* Leading end-to-end procurement and contract placement for goods and services across defence sustainment programmes
* Developing and executing sourcing strategies and supporting bid / campaign activity
* Managing key supplier relationships across delivery, quality, technical and commercial performance
* Working closely with engineering and programme teams to build and maintain an effective supply chain architecture
* Identifying and managing risk, issues and opportunities across the supply base
About you:
* 3–5+ years’ experience in procurement, commercial or supply chain within aerospace, defence or MRO
* Strong experience drafting and negotiating contracts and managing major subcontracts
* Comfortable working in complex, multi-stakeholder programme environments
* Experience using SAP / Ariba and strong Microsoft Office skills
* Able to influence and communicate effectively with engineering and programme teams
