Your missions
The HVAC Commissioning Engineer will be based in the UK (Bristol). The position reports to the HPC Commissioning Group Lead in EPR-E.
* The HVAC Commissioning Engineer is responsible for producing commissioning documentation within the HVAC scope of the HPC Nuclear Island project.
* Support the Edvance commissioning team and interface with HVAC commissioning discipline.
* Assist the customer with the preparation of test execution.
Key duties, responsibilities and deliverables
* Preparatory phase: confirm project data and organization, identify stakeholders, check input data maturity, collect OPEX, record risks with mitigation, arrange pre-job brief, open the study file.
* Execution phase: produce deliverables per Edvance procedures, have deliverables checked and resolve issues, review contractor deliverables against project standards, update the study file, support I&C tests at the test bay (France) including result assessment.
* Monitoring phase: report progress toward schedule and budget, update risk register as needed.
* Close-out phase: obtain approvals without comments and store deliverables and study files in EDMS.
Stakeholders
Key interfaces include the client organization (NNB – HPC HVAC commissioning Manager and HVAC Senior Commissioning Manager) and Edvance teams (HVAC design, other commissioning leaders, contracts/equipment, configuration, installation).
Requirements & Skills
* Essential: Degree in an appropriate engineering discipline.
* 2–5 years’ experience in Nuclear Engineering (first successful experience).
* Knowledge of EPR design; UK context is a plus.
* Experience in multi-disciplinary teams on large projects.
* Knowledge of Systems Engineering principles.
* Strong writing and reviewing of technical documents; proactive technical topic management.
* Excellent organizational and communication skills; ability to liaise with multiple stakeholders.
* Languages: English fluent (minimum B2); French is a plus.
