Channel Development Manager, Water & Environmental Industry — £60,000-£65,000 + Bonus | Company Car | 33 Days Holiday | Excellent Benefits. A leading organisation within the water and environmental sector is seeking a commercially driven Channel Development Manager to lead the growth of its global distributor network. This is an exciting opportunity for a candidate with strong international experience in channel partner development to join a company with ambitious growth plans and a mission-driven culture. You’ll be responsible for driving partner performance, expanding market reach, and improving brand visibility across key regions.
This role is easily commutable from locations across the West Midlands and Worcestershire, including Solihull, Sutton Coldfield, Walsall, Wolverhampton, West Bromwich, Dudley, Stourbridge, Halesowen, and Smethwick, as well as Redditch, Bromsgrove, Droitwich Spa, Kidderminster, and surrounding areas.
Role Overview
As Channel Development Manager, you’ll take ownership of developing and managing a high-performing network of distribution partners. Your responsibilities will include identifying and onboarding new distributors, building strategic partnerships, and aligning channel performance with wider business goals. You’ll provide ongoing support and training to partners, optimise distribution agreements, manage channel conflicts where necessary, and monitor key performance metrics to drive revenue growth and ensure successful market penetration across multiple international regions.
What We’re Looking For
* Proven experience in international channel or distributor management, particularly in the UK, Europe, Middle East, and Australia.
* Strong ability to work to targets and deadlines in a fast-paced commercial environment.
* Confident in evaluating, onboarding, and managing channel partners based on clear criteria.
* Strategic mindset with an understanding of partner development and performance tracking.
* Working knowledge or experience in the water industry or environmental solutions is highly preferred.
* Willing and able to travel for distributor visits and market support.
* Comfortable working as a hybrid professional, balancing autonomy with collaboration.
* Occasional overseas travel to meet with distribution partners.
