We are looking to recruit an experienced Chef de Partie to join our friendly team working in a stable environment, based at Drakes Kitchen in the heart of the University of Plymouth’s thriving campus.
About the role
This is a fantastic opportunity for a motivated individual with experience in cooking and working in a kitchen to join the team and create inspiring menus. We seek to use local, fresh, seasonal and sustainable produce in all of our dishes and the successful candidate must have a passion and drive to produce menus in line with modern food trends.
This is a full-time position working 37 hours per week, for 52 weeks a year on a permanent basis. Opportunities for additional overtime and/or flexible working available.
You would be employed by University Commercial Services Plymouth Ltd (UCSPL) and would therefore be subject to their terms and conditions of employment. UCSPL is a wholly owned subsidiary company of The University of Plymouth. You will have:
* An experience of working in a variety of different styles of catering units
* A customer-focussed mind-set and strive to deliver on and exceed students, staff and visitor’s expectations
* A flexible approach to hours and work is essential, as is adaptability and the ability to work on different menus and concepts, whilst maintaining high standards at all times.
