The Role
As Conveyancing Team Manager, you’ll oversee the day‑to‑day operations of a team of Property Lawyers, ensuring excellent service delivery and high performance across the board. You’ll play a pivotal role in managing team performance, developing legal talent, and embedding a positive, inclusive team culture.
This is a hands‑on leadership position, ideal for someone with both deep conveyancing knowledge and a genuine passion for people development.
Key Responsibilities
* Lead, coach, and mentor a team of Property Lawyers to deliver high‑quality, efficient conveyancing services
* Foster a culture of excellence, collaboration, and continuous improvement
* Oversee individual and team performance using a structured skills matrix
* Manage workload distribution and resource planning to ensure consistent productivity
* Support the development and delivery of personal development plans and ongoing training
* Lead on people management issues including performance improvement, absence, and recruitmentAct as a key escalation point for service queries or complaints
* Contribute to departmental change initiatives and cross‑team collaboration
* Work closely with senior management on budgeting, salary reviews, and business planning
* Ensure adherence to internal policies and external compliance standards
